What is MAC?


Mission Statement: Providing quality creative events for students that are meaningful and engaging!

MAC, is a student-run organization which is responsible for organizing and hosting both entertaining and educational programs for all Morningside students with no charges.


MAC is funded by the students and aims to find a wide range of events to bring back to the students. Programs hosted by MAC include comedians, musicians, MAC Movie Madness at the Promenade, alcohol and sexual assault education, diversity speakers and a wide range of active events. MAC loves to bring in entertainers, activities and educational opportunities to make students experience at Morningside College even more fulfilling.  



Caroline Black is from Fort Collins, CO. Caroline graduated from Hastings College and majored in Psychology. "My favorite part of MAC is working with the team to put on events for all of campus."

Sarah Butcher


Sarah Butcher is a Junior from Avoca, IA. She is majoring in Nursing. "My favorite part of MAC is getting to hangout with the fellow MAC members!"

Vice President

Tim Sibbel is a Senior from Manning, IA. He is double majoring in Computer Information 

Systems and General Business with a minor in AG Studies. "My favorite part of MAC is seeing students enjoy the events we put on."

Marissa is a Senior from Brandon, SD and is majoring in Radiologic Technology. "My favorite thing about MAC is being a part of something so much bigger!"

Public Relations

Emma Hannasch is a Sophomore from Glidden, IA. She is double majoring in Social and. Behavioral Science and Non-Profit Management. "My favorite part of MAC is hanging out in the SG office before and after meetings."
